Dave explains his chords in Hot Tamales - Part 7 of our 8 part Video tutorial.mov

It's Dave with his part in Hot Tamales. (Find the rest of the tutorials here: www.youtube.com ) Here are some more bits of info about Dave: Born in Erith, Kent, Dave Suich went to Leeds University, where he first met George and Kitty, playing bass and singing in punk-rock outfit "The Glands". After a stint as a dustman and a hospital porter, he became a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, where he met Jonty, working together in a musical. ("The Scotsman" complimented Dave on his "dark brown voice"). He went on to play with Jonty in the "Bankes Brothers", compering and singing, as well as performing on the New Variety circuit alongside comedy legends like Rik Mayall and Malcolm Hardy. Dave went on to form "Friends of the Monster", an indie-rock band with which he supported Screaming Lord Such, and began a twenty year stint compering at Glastonbury Festival, as "Joe Bazouki". It was while working in under-fives community theatre that he first picked up a ukulele, and he joined th! e Ukulele Orchestra in 1985. In the 1990s he formed "The Missing Puddings", an urban folk outfit, and has more recently dusted off the bass to play with Bromley rap band "The Heights".
